You deserve care that feels compassionate, understanding, and grounded in hope.
Meet Your Therapist
Hi, I’m Nicole Herrington, owner of Hopeful Futures Counseling.
My passion for supporting women through infertility, early motherhood, anxiety, and depression is deeply personal.
I understand firsthand how emotionally overwhelming infertility can be. After struggling with infertility myself, our family grew through IVF, a journey that brought grief, uncertainty, hope, and emotional exhaustion all at once. Later, I experienced postpartum depression, which gave me an even deeper understanding of how isolating motherhood can sometimes feel, even when it is deeply wanted.
Today, I am also a foster parent, which continues to shape how I understand resilience, attachment, transitions, and the complexity of family building.
While every woman’s story is different, I know what it feels like when life doesn’t unfold the way you imagined. I also know how important it is to have support from someone who truly understands the emotional weight of these seasons.
My goal is to create a space where you feel deeply understood, never judged, and supported with both compassion and practical tools to help you feel more like yourself again.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy should feel warm, supportive, and practical.
My approach combines lived understanding with evidence-based therapy, helping women process difficult emotions while learning tools to manage anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and life transitions.
Together, we will create space for the hard parts while building resilience, self-compassion, and steadiness.
Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about helping you feel supported enough to move through hard seasons with more confidence and hope.
